Cracking the Code

I believe everyone should learn how to code, at least one class of coding. Everyone should learn how to code because it's important, it may not seem important to you right now but, it will be very important when you get a little older or later in life because coding is every where you look. If you were wondering coding is a set of written instructions used by computers to do something. Coding also may come in handy in many situations what if you want to make a game or something like that but there are many things you can use coding for. What if you need to code something on a computer one day and you don't know how to code.

The two lessons on coding I did in my G.T. class weren't my 1st try at it. Well my real first time was last year in my science class and it was difficult at first but the more I did it the easier it got. When the levels got more complex I had to start thinking harder about what pieces went where. I realized that you have to be very precise or you wont get the code right, also the less code the better. My overall first experience with coding was good, It went better then expected at least.

If I could design any program or game it would most likely be an app that would help you pick out your outfit daily. This is how it would work, you would take a picture of all of your clothes individually, oh yeah don't forget about your shoes record them all into the app and even all the new clothes you buy you record them to. After there recorded your ready to go, but every morning, night, or when ever your picking a outfit out you have to choose what design you want for example: if your really happy one day you would choose the happy selection, or if your feeling down, 80's, modern, flashy, anything you want or even choose random. I feel that this would be good for teenage girls or maybe even boys, and some adults. There will actually be more of this in my next blog ;)

Humorous Monologue

This project helped me learn a few more thing that I didn't know before. For example, when creating a joke you have to revise it over and over agin until you think its perfect or at least good enough to make people laugh. I also learned that when you make a joke plan the timing seriously matters, because if your timing is off even just a tad it will loose the effect of the full potential of your humorous joke. Those are really the only major things I learned from this project, except it's super hard to hold a camera up for a long time with out a tripod. Thats all that is really gained from this project.

You really need padding for your videos because if you don't you cut out some of your audio when you speak. It is actually very crucial to have padding because if you cut out your audio it will be super confusing cause your audience wont know what the first and last words you say while filming. Padding is actually the five seconds before and after you start speaking in a video. It is very crucial to give yourself 5 seconds before and after because you cant always just start filming when your camera might not even pick up the first couple word you spoke. Another description for padding is the time needed to help make a good video.

The strong suit for me on this project was making the actual joke because I think it was a pretty good joke. My weakness on this project was filming because I wanted to use my own camera but my mother kept taking it and using it for work. Ways I could have improved on this project was to get much better b-roll, and b-roll that matched my joke. Over all on this project I think I did a pretty good job because I tried my best and did my highest work I could have.
