For this motivational poster project were doing right now we have a couple of requirements we need to reach to get a good grade, first theres the layer requirements. For the layer requirements we have to have four pictures in total, which are three images that represent who I am as a person, the last photo is a portrait of my face. The second layers we have are the text layers, we have to use only two text layers one is for our manifesto and the other one is for our personal quotes. Also we have requirements for our design, here they are, every text layer will always be kerned so there are no blank spaces all around the page. We also need a triadic color scheme for our posters. On our text we need to add a drop shadow, stroke, outer glow, a bevel and emboss.
First I got a whole bunch of manifestos that matter to me and I also got some quotes and kerned them to fit onto the page, so almost all of the words were different sizes. After all of my words were kerned I put three pictures that mean something to me and a portrait of my self in the back of my text. Then when I'm done with all my pictures I have to pick a triadic color scheme for the text, the colors go on the stroke, drop shadow, outer glow, and the bevel and emboss. Last I have to change the colors of my pictures to match my triadic color scheme.
My biggest challenge I had with this project was to kern all my words right. But when I kerned all my words I realized that I needed a lot more quotes and manifestos; that was the hard part I couldn't think of any thing that matted to me so I had to really think. About three days I was still suck on trying to find some quotes or manifestos and I was also way behind on this project I thought I was so behind I wasn't going to get a good grade. Then two days before the project was due I thought of so many things that means a lot to me but by the time a typed them all in I had a day to kern, and etc. So at the end I didn't finish it all in time but I did get a good enough grade to get an A, yaaay!
